I was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania, and now reside in the greater Baltimore area. My journey into photography began as a hobby in the early 1980’s, with nature as my main subject.

As the years passed, my focuses in photography began to mimic my focuses in life. I learned how to photograph live subjects, thanks to many family photos and my daughter’s adventures through life: childhood, sports, high school events, and now college. During this time, I found that photographing people and life events to be just as pleasurable as nature photos. It brings great pleasure to me when I witness the appreciation from friends and clients for the work I have provided.

Over the past two years I have been involved in a photography mentorship program which has offered many opportunities to both collaborate with a large group of models and fellow photographers and discuss various concepts and techniques for taking and displaying photographic art. As a result of this, I have had sets published in various online magazines and for the second year in a row my photography has been displayed in the east coast’s largest fine art photography show in Lancaster, PA.
